• You can sell different versions of your software to different customers, as paid upgrades that you can protect against piracy.
• Your TCPmaker devices can display a different logo on the PC browser for different versions of your firmware.  Show your own logo for your own brand of a product, and a different for a private label OEM version of the same product.  Only 1 version of the firmware is needed - the secret is in the serial numbering system.
